Charla joined the Social Insights team in November 2023.
Charla is an interdisciplinary researcher interested in the nexus of health, place and systemic change. She has over 10 years of experience in applied research methods, including collecting primary data through surveys and interviews with a variety of populations. Charla has a deep connection to understanding root causes to social issues in our community in an effort to orient to sustainable solutions. Her research has informed state and national policy proposals and has covered topics such as economic justice, community health interventions and more.
Charla is a Research and Evaluation Manager II at Social Insights. She is passionate about research being accessible to all people and communities. One of her greatest teachers is nature and in her spare time, you can find her reading, creating art, and spending time with her chosen family.
