Lindsey joined the Social Insights team in February 2025.
Lindsey Burton-Anderson is passionate about advancing equity in public health and behavioral health systems. She works tirelessly to ensure public health workers have a platform to share their perspectives, helping shape policies supporting a resilient and representative workforce. As a behavioral health advocate, Lindsey has also championed the voices of Black peer workers, using her analytical expertise to highlight their experiences with racism and discrimination within the behavioral health system.
Lindsey is skilled at building relationships with partners, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize the needs of minoritized communities, and providing a space for others to feel comfortable sharing their unique lived experiences.
Lindsey is a Research Associate at the de Beaumont Foundation, where she leverages data to empower and amplify the voices of the state and local government public health workforce. She finds joy in practicing yoga, journaling with intention, listening to inspirational podcasts, and crafting her future through vision boards and prayer.
