Miko Brown has partnered with individuals and communities throughout the United States to help foster a more just and compassionate world through national service with AmeriCorps, mental health and wellness work, food system transformation initiatives, farmed animal sanctuaries, social justice education, and community engagement. Miko’s approach is grounded in the emergent process of fostering communities of care and counter-oppressive practice that honor and support both individual and community wellness.

Miko is Social Insights’ Administrative and Community Engagement Manager, providing administrative support and managing the Liberatory Research online platform. Miko received a Master’s Degree in Social Change and is passionate about contemplative and liberatory practices for the benefit of all beings and the planet.
