Prameela is a cross-disciplinary artist and researcher who enjoys integrating her analytical, clinical, advocacy, and entrepreneurial expertise to reimagine bio-psycho-social-spiritual relational systems. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Social Work at Columbia University, specializing in Integrated Practice & Programming, while completing her practicum at the Columbia Center on Poverty and Social Policy, where she contributes to product research and design. As an aspiring public-interest technologist and social entrepreneur, Prameela is passionate about creating courageous, compassionate, and creative spaces for critical dialogue. Her research explores innovative methodologies and conceptual frameworks–covering topics such as, neurocognitive hacking, disinformation, ethical AI practices, memoricide, and the potential of quantum physics to reimagine social movements.
As a youth leader, she has served in advisory capacity with HeadStream Innovations, Mental Health America’s Youth Leaders Council, Vanderbilt’s Conference on Critical Psychiatry, and the Omaha National Commission for Children and Families.Whether designing social media-based psychoeducational campaigns, leading workshops on the intersection of tech and well-being, or launching a digital fellowship to empower South Asian youth–her work aims to center accessibility, cultural congruence, and agency-driven solutions. On a personal note, Prameela loves coffee, poetry, baking desserts for friends, biking, and–occasionally, tumbling down mountains while learning to ski.
